Fun in Indiana...With a Californian Twist!

A couple of months ago, I was at a brunch in San Francisco and this guy whose name is Kevin, heard me say that I was going to be in Indiana for the summer. It just so happened that he also had plans to be here for a family reunion and asked me if I wanted to go! Of course I said yes!

So I drove to Bloomington last weekend and we had a lot of fun eating, drinking, and being merry...We went for a sunset swim in Lake Monroe & hitched a ride back to the hotel with some fisherman when it got dark....We skipped on the dance floor...and got a surprising number of Hoosiers to give skipping a try, too! It was a lot of fun!!!

The next day, my sister and brother-in-law (that's them at the left) were having a party at their house, so I invited Kevin to come along. They had a temporary tattoo artist, one of those big jumper things, and lots of kids to skip with!! It was a really wonderful and fun weekend for sure!

Yeeee-Haw!!!!!!

Another really fun thing I did recently was go horseback riding with my good friend Melissa!! When I was in college I rode on the Purdue Equestrian team, so it was like old times...My horse's name was Spitfire! We even got to gallop through the woods! The girls on the left are Cindy and Danielle who were the guides on the ride!
