Michelle Joni’s Skipping Club in NYC recently celebrated their 10th Skipaversary in style with a celebratory skip in Central Park on National Pizza Day!

The event happened on the anniversary of The Beatles legendary appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, which inspired the route the skippers took.  They started with a skip through the southern end of Central Park to the Plaza Hotel where John, Paul, George and Ringo stayed on that first trip to America. Then they swung by the Ed Sullivan theater on their way back to Michelle Joni’s miraculous ride Glinda the Good Bus where they enjoyed pizza Auggie’s Infamous Tiny Pizza Kitchen on the rooftop.

While many skipping activists have come and gone over the years, Michelle Joni‘s passion for skipping, and dedication to “painting the street with positivity” in as many ways as possible, continues to stand the test time!  Skip on Michelle! We can’t wait to see what your next decade of skipping has in store!
